Lotus Temple (Baha'i temple)

One of the famous tourist spots, Lotus Temple. This beautiful piece of art is right next to Nehru Place (South Delhi) and opposite to the Kalka Mandir. It looks beautiful in the night, out of this world I must say. Unfortunately I don't have a good speed light, else I would have posted some of the night shots. Whatever here are couple of images that I feel were worth sharing.

To know more about the temple you can go on to their official website : http://www.bahaindia.org/temple/index.html

Here are the remaining pics of the fort. Lets start with the cafeteria. Food out here is reasonable. If I am not wrong the lunch time is till 3pm and if you are not able to make it then you can have some nice sandwiches.

Come lets see the other parts of the fort.

Lets see some of the antiques which are at display out there.

Neemrana Fort (Part 1)

My trip to Neemrana fort was memorable. I have been there twice but I still want to go to that place but next time with a better lens and better flash. I wanted to capture Neemrana in night with the lights on but unfortunately I couldnt capture that in either of my visits. The thought of spending a night there is quite scary but I guess I would take the pictures and drive back home.

But here is what I could capture in my first visit.

The entry fee for this fort is Rs 200/- per person. But when you enter this fort and roam around then I am sure you wont feel bad, coz its worth that much. In the above image I have tried to capture the whole fort. I wish if I would have adjusted the angle of the Cannon.

One thing that I liked about this fort is this that have placed chairs every where in the fort, so at any point of time you feel tired, you can sit on chair and relax and then move on. Quite clean and tidy.

That is the view of the area around the fort. The fort is about 15 to 20 mins drive from the Jaipur Highway. There is a small village around the fort. The market around the fort is not that much developed, I couldn't find camera roll for my Nikon F80 in my second visit. So you need to carry all camera roll and batteries along with you coz once you are inside the Fort then you cant find all this. But as far as food is concern, there is a nice cafeteria within the fort.

Have some more pics, will be uploading the rest very soon.
