I am back with Jaipur

It’s been more than 4yrs that I didn't write a post. Within these 4yrs I have moved on from an analog Nikon SLR to a DLSR (Nikon5100). Again it’s an amazing experience. Thanks to my cousin who motivated me to buy this.

Moving forward, there was a Bibi Ka Maqbara (Part 2) that was due but that didn't happen for past 4 years. Guess it’s time to move on to a new journey. Thanks to my Brother's in laws that we were able to see Jaipur properly in December 2012. Jaipur, the pink city in Rajasthan is a beautiful place to go to. For some weird reason I feel at home whenever I am there in the city. The nice, warm and honest people around in colorful attire makes Jaipur a beautiful place to live in, Rangeelo Rajasthan in true sense.

We started our journey with the famous Amber fort which is 11kms from the city. The fort is very well known for its artistic style, it’s a nice blend of both Hindu and Rajput elements. The fort is beautiful and I am sure one can spend 3-4hours to cover the fort nicely. But the scariest part is driving the car to the fort parking on your own; therefore I would strongly recommend you to hire a cab. Else you need to have a good coordination between the clutch and brakes.

There is no way that you can cover Amber Fort, Jaipur in just two stills; I have good 70-80 with me. But the chosen ones are there on Flickr album. I want to upload more pics but for some strange reason I am not able to embed the Flickr URL in my blog. It is showing some error. Anyhow, do visit Flickr link to view more images of Amber.

Will share more in my next post, till then enjoy clicking...
